Kerry’s background as a massage therapist was the starting point for her Yoga journey – her fascination with functional anatomy was fueled by the beauty, strength and grace of the postures and she was thrilled to find a way to offer her clients a more comprehensive approach to long term spinal care and core stability issues, and fix her own back in the process. What she didn’t expect was to fall in love with a practice that would change her life. Peace, self acceptance, balance and contentment came hand in hand with strength, fitness and flexibility.
A diploma in Classical Yoga followed her original RCYP training as a childrens’ Yoga teacher. A lifelong student, her ongoing fascination with the human body has led her to study and incorporate the work of Lisa Petersen in Somatics, along with the deeply mindful and restorative work influenced by Donna Farhi. She has completed Donna’s advanced teacher training.
Kerry has a passion for whole foods – she is a talented Vegetarian Cook and has catered for many retreats.
